Due to limited funding from the university, the members of the UNCW Club Hockey team rely not only on player dues, but also support from the local community to insure that college hockey will become a permanent fixture in the area. The money from sponsors will go to the purchase of ice time for practices and games as well as other various expenses throughout the season. The ice rink is located near Ogden Park Off Market Street at 7201 Ogden Business Lane, behind the Planters Walk Subdivision. Go into the entrance to Ogden Park off Market but don't go thru the gate. Take your first right turn. The Rink will be 2 blocks ahead on the left. From I-40E, take exit 420, Gordon Rd. At the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, turn right on Gordon Rd. Follow Gordon Rd. approximately 2 miles to Market St. Turn left on Market St. and stay in the left hand lane. Turn left into Ogden Park, approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right on Ogden Business Lane and the rink is on your left.
