I take great pleasure in introducing you to the University of North Carolina At Wilmington, Club Hockey Team. This team is an exceptional group of college students who through dedication, continuous hard work, and amazing commitment are working their way to a promising future of educational achievement and athletic excellence. They represent the best of UNCW ice hockey players in our college. These boys are talented, and committed to achieving the very best, both on the ice and off. UNCW is a member of the BRHC. The Blue Ridge Hockey Conference was created in the fall of 2001 as a collegiate club ice hockey league comprised of colleges and universities from Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Their ultimate goal this year is to win the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference Championships.
The USA College Hockey Nationals is the premier college hockey tournament for club players. The tournament is recognized as the United States championship of Club College Hockey. (NHLN covers some games and championships) It is an honor to qualify for the tournament, as the finest Club College hockey teams from 12 districts attend this prestigious event. The Nationals last 5 days and will have many fans in attendance. For these student-athletes, it is an experience of a lifetime. The team takes pride in that they will not only represent UNCW and the Wilmington area but the whole South Eastern region.
In preparation for this tournament, the UNCW team began training this fall. During the regular season, the Team practices once a week and will be playing both League and Non-League games throughout the season. One major tournament they hope to qualify for will be played at the UNCW home rink in Wilmington, NC where they will meet the best teams across the region, many of which are entirely funded by corporate sponsors.
None of this is inexpensive. The team is planning various fund-raising events to help offset the costs involved with such intense training and participation. And thus, we are seeking individual and corporate sponsorship. Such support will help with the Team’s travel to and from game, team jackets, ice time (up to $300/hr), and other related expenses associated with preparing for the Nationals. The attached sponsorship sheet details levels of sponsorship and other donation information. Your sponsorship will be greatly appreciated. All contributions are tax deductible. (501 (C) 3-non-profit)

Platinum - $5,000 Plus
Platinum sponsorship will receive recognition on a 3’x 8’ hockey board banner advertising your business at the Wilmington Ice House as sponsors of UNCW Club Hockey, team jersey with name and number on back which includes the name of your business on a patch sewn on, company logo on team jackets, recognition at local events including but not limited to a program, PA Advertising Spots during home games, the team web site, a wood plaque w/team photo, Magnetic sign to be placed on vans for all travel games and a package of season tickets to all home games
Gold - $2500
Gold sponsorship will have their company logo on the 3' x8' hockey board banner; receive recognition in local publications and events and on team web site, PA Advertising Spots during home games and a plaque w/ team photo.
Silver - $1,000
Silver sponsorship will receive recognition in local publications and events and on team web site, PA Advertising Spots during home games and a plaque w/ team photo.
Bronze - $500
Bronze sponsorship will receive recognition on team web site, PA Advertising Spots during home games and a handsome wood plaque w/ team photo.
MVP - $100
MVP sponsorship will receive recognition on team web site and a framed team photo.
All Sponsors will have their name on our T-shirts to be sold at team events as well as on campus and in the community.
We have suggested donation levels; however any amount would be greatly appreciated. The UNCW College Hockey Team will recognize all donations in some way.
